🌱 American Red Cross Blood Drives In Yuma + Local Job Openings

Here are the top three stories today in Yuma:

  1. The American Red Cross will host six blood drives in the Southwestern and Western areas of Arizona. The blood drives will begin tomorrow, Thursday, Mar. 10, and will include three Yuma locations, including The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints-Yuma Stake, Yuma Red Cross Office, and Stoneridge Church.   2. Businesses across the Yuma area are looking to fill openings on their staff, and Patch has rounded up some of the most recent local job openings.   3. The family of a man who was shot and killed by an Arizona Department of Public Safety trooper in February is reaching out to the public for more information on the incident. According to reports, Anthony Parker was stopped by a DPS trooper near Interstate 10 and Orange Grove on Feb. 7 on a “person to locate” call from the Yuma area where he was fatally shot. On Monday, Mar. 7, Parker’s fiancΓ©, Tobi, is searching for more answers regarding her partner’s death. (KVOA)
