Here are the top three stories today in Phoenix:

  1. This week Arizona gas prices hit an all-time high at $4.29 per gallon. The previous record, $4.09 per gallon, was set in 2008. According to AAA, Arizona experienced the largest one-day increase out of all 50 states from Monday to Tuesday this week. (phoenix patch)
  2. The Phoenix police are investigating the murder of 18-year-old man in Ahwatukee that took place on Monday night. Covarrubias later died at the hospital and officials are currently working to identify a suspect. (ABC15 Arizona at Phoenix)
