1 killed in a motorcycle wreck on I-10 heading east west of Phoenix | Arizona News
TONOPAH, AZ (3TV / CBS 5) – According to DPS, one person was killed in a three-vehicle accident west of Phoenix on Saturday morning. Interstate 10 going east is closed between exits 103 and 109 – this is 339th Avenue to Palo Verde Road, west of State Route 85.
The video of the scene showed a mutilated motorcycle and SUV. A truck driver who saw the scene said it looked like “motorcycle parts were strewn all over the street”.
One viewer told Arizona’s family that they saw a medical helicopter take off from the scene, which is a little less than an hour west of Phoenix.
DPS has not released any details about the crash.
The closure triggered a large fuse on I-10 to the east and a significant slowdown on the side to the west.
Arizona’s family will update this story as soon as we learn more about what happened.
