2 year old pulled from Phoenix Pool, in extremely critical condition

A two-year-old girl dragged from a pool in Phoenix was rushed to hospital in extremely critical condition on Saturday, according to the Phoenix Fire Department.

Phoenix and Guadalupe firefighters reacted to a house near 48th Street and Elliot Road after receiving reports of a two-year-old girl being dragged out of a pool, Phoenix fire department spokesman David Ramirez said in an e- Mail.

The girl did not respond and her family was doing CPR when the crews first arrived at the scene, Ramirez said.

She was eventually rushed to hospital in extremely critical condition, Ramirez said. Phoenix Fire said there were no updates until Sunday morning.

The girl’s family told crime scene officials that she had been “missing for a few minutes,” according to Ramirez.
