A Flood Watch will be in effect from 11 am Tuesday through 11 pm Thursday for the northeast portion of Northern Arizona, which includes the Greater Flagstaff area and Williams. The National Weather Service says deep moisture will interact with a low pressure system west of the state that will bring a threat of occasional showers and thunderstorms with heavy rainfall during the watch time. Flash flooding will be possible in creeks, normal dry washes and recently burned areas. Other areas in the watch include the Navajo and Hopi nations, Holbrook, Winslow and the White Mountains.
