Humane Society receives donation to save more animals
YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) – The AEA Federal Credit Union recently presented the Humane Society of Yuma with a check for $ 2,935.
Funds were raised through the Jeans Giver Program, a year-long program in which AEA employees donate either $ 5 or $ 10 to wear jeans.
A charity for the donations is then selected each quarter by the staff determined by the Humane Society of Yuma.
Athena Godwin, AEA Senior Vice President of Retail and Humane Society for Yuma Board Member, made the statement: “Animals make so much because they give unconditionally. The humane society of
Yuma’s mission to reduce the number of homeless pets speaks to my own love for animals and it
means so much to me that the AEA team selected her for this donation. “
The mission of the Humane Society of Yuma is to “reduce the number of homeless pets through adoption, rescue, and neutering and neutering programs”. They have been caring for animals since 1963.
