Akufo-Addo, the name “Anniversary” is just a fantasy, Flagstaff House will return
Former Ghanaian leaders John Jerry Rawlings, John Kuffour, John Evans Atta-Mills and John Mahama ruled Ghana amicably and respected the legacy of Ghana’s first President, Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, until the arrival of Nana Afufo Addo, changed the name from Flagstaff House to Jubilee House. Why only Akufo-Addo and what does it mean?
Very often, psychologists and psychiatrists are the right people who can examine people’s actions and behavior in order to explain to others the motives behind what they do.
However, since Akufo Addo is the only one among ex-Ghanaian leaders to have taken such action, suffice it to say to any intelligent Ghanaian that the president suffers not only from nepotism syndrome but also from hatred and jealousy.
The truth is bitter than bile, and those who can’t stand it attack like stinging bees. Ghana has thousands of mosques and churches, but I firmly believe that the worshipers of Allah or God actually do not hear the voice of God because if they do, the current political and economic crisis in the country can be avoided or mild.
My questions are the NDC and the NPP the only political parties in Ghana? If, despite everything he has done for Ghana and his services are no longer valued in the country, John Mahama has been declared corrupt, why did the Ghanaians fail to try other parties, but instead use the smooth, sugar-coated language the NPP government fell in love with firing the pan?
You don’t really need a psychologist to tell you who Nana Akufo Addo is. He is a man with a dark heart and hates everything about the great Ghanaian leader Kwame Nkrumah.
He wants to change history, so he’s giving Flagstaff House a new name because it can’t stand the accomplishments and popularity of Kwame Nkrumah on both Ghanaian and foreign soil, while there is no mention of the name JB Danquah.
Frankly, before Akufo Addo was politically inspired to fight as a presidential candidate on the NPP’s platform, he had already written down his diabolical plans, including changing the name to Flagstaff House.
These selfish ambitions also inspired the cathedral project in a country with a troubled economy, high unemployment rate and the collapse of banking institutions.
Since African leaders full of hatred and jealousy towards their enemies have little success, Nana Akufo Addo failed as a leader despite the free educational program he implemented.
He focused more on what he wanted to achieve for himself in order to gain self-awareness than on solving people’s problems.
How many Ghanaians know JB Danquah, let alone on the international platforms? Ignited by jealousy and hatred, Akufo Addo manipulated the political history of Ghana by changing the name of an institution.
But the fact that he can’t ignore is that no one can change facts in history. No matter how hard you try to get Akufo Addo, Nkrumah is a name that you can never cross from the political history of Ghana even if you change all the textbooks in Ghana.
If changing the names of institutions and textbooks in Ghana plays a crucial role in improving its economy, the land will flow with milk and honey everywhere without taxing the minds of ordinary Ghanaians.
They who once demonstrated against Rawlings for the introduction of VAT, but who today have piled a mountain of taxes on the heads of ordinary Ghanaians.
The reality is that Ghanaians are only facing the tip of the iceberg in the country right now. Clearer and more invisible troubles are afoot due to financial mismanagement or corruption that the government will attribute to the effects of the coronavirus despite unaccountable billions in loans from overseas governments.
The name “Jubilee” is just a fantasy, Nana Akufo Addo, Flagstaff House will return at the right time through better government that will preserve the legacy of the great, Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, will preserve and celebrate.
