Amber Heard secretly greets a baby girl through a surrogate mother
Amber Heard is a mom!
The 35-year-old actress is celebrating the birth of a little girl months after ex-husband Johnny Depp lost his libel case.
A source exclusively told Page Six on Thursday that Heard was “more than in love” with her daughter Oonagh Paige, whom she named after her late mother Paige.
Oonagh was born on April 8 with the help of a surrogate mother after Heard was told she would never be able to carry her own baby, friends said.
A source who knows the star told us, “Oonagh is absolutely gorgeous and Amber is in love. She always knew that she wanted to become a mother and this is her greatest wish. She is so grateful to the wonderful woman who helped bring Oonagh into her life.

“The most important thing for Amber is that she speaks openly about Oonagh’s birth,” the source continued. “There are so many women who feel they cannot talk about their fertility and are concerned and embarrassed; Amber wants you to feel supported and to realize that there are many ways to have a baby even if you have fertility problems. “
Heard confirmed the news herself on Instagram Thursday, where she shared a photo of herself with the infant.
“I am very excited to share this news with you. Four years ago I decided to have a child. I wanted to do it on my own terms, ”she wrote. “I now appreciate how radical it is for us as women to ponder one of the most fundamental parts of our destiny in this way. I hope we get to a point where it is normal not to have a ring to have a cot. “
She added, “There is a part of me who wants to state that my private life is none of my business. I also understand that the nature of my job forces me to take control of it. My daughter was born on April 8, 2021. Her name is Oonagh Paige Heard. It is the beginning of the rest of my life. “

Heard is currently in a relationship with cinematographer Bianca Butti, whom she has been with since January 2020, but she made the decision to have a baby by herself some time ago and is “proud” to be Oonagh’s only legal parent, us are told.
Next, the activist is shooting the film “Aquaman 2”, in which she plays the Atlantic Princess Mera alongside Jason Momoa in the title role.
The birth of Heard’s baby was particularly poignant, friends say, as she lost her own mother in May 2020 at the age of 63 and said at the time she was “incredibly heartbroken and devastated”.
Calling Paige “the most beautiful woman I have ever known” in an Instagram post, she added, “It’s hard to imagine and even harder to say, but I’m really happy to be her daughter and get the gift, to have the light “it has shone on everyone, fall on me for almost 34 years.”
Heard then thanked her family and friends for helping her and her sister Whitney during the “incredibly painful time.”

The star’s mother died just a few weeks before she faced Depp, 58, in a three-week trial in London’s High Court in July 2020.
She handed evidence against the “Pirates of the Caribbean” star who eventually lost his defamation case against The Sun newspaper over an article calling him a “woman beater”.
The judge found that Depp attacked Heard a dozen times and put her in “fear for her life” three times.
After the fall, Heard said, “After I received a restraining order in 2016 and finalized my divorce, I just wanted to get on with my life. I did not file this lawsuit and, despite its importance, I would rather not have been here in court.
“It was incredibly painful to relive the breakup of my relationship, to question my motives and my truth, and to share the most traumatic and intimate details of my life with Johnny in court and broadcast them around the world. I stand by my testimony and now trust the British judiciary. “
In April, Depp asked the appeals court to give him permission to challenge the High Court’s ruling in order to get a retrial.
Depp’s attorneys tried to claim Heard failed to donate her $ 7 million divorce settlement to the American Civil Liberties Union and Los Angeles Children’s Hospital as she promised, but the court denied Depp permission to To appeal.
A source close to Depp told Page Six: “The judge thought she was this wonderful person who stands up for humanity” because of her supposed generosity, “but she lied out of her ass” [about the donations]. “
Heard’s attorney, Elaine Bredehoft, confirmed that her client was still pending charity pledge, but insisted: “Amber has already been responsible for seven figure charitable donations and intends to continue contributing and eventually delivering on her promise.
“However, Amber has been delayed in that goal because Mr. Depp filed a lawsuit against her, forcing her to spend millions of dollars defending Mr. Depp’s false allegations against her.”
The couple are set to stand before a U.S. court next April as Depp is suing Heard over a 2018 Washington Post opinion article alleging domestic violence but not naming the actor.
The source, who knows Heard, added, “At the moment, Amber’s only concern is Oonagh and raising a healthy and strong daughter.”
