Tucson Values Teachers holds its annual promotion to give local educators gift cards for school supplies.
Tucson Supplies Teachers opens July 12th to pre-K-12 teachers in Southern Arizona to register for the chance to win a $ 50 gift card for Jonathan’s Educational Resources, a local company.
Weekly draws run from July 12th to September 30th, with results posted on Tucson Values Teachers’ social media pages.
“Part of the Tucson Values Teachers vision is a wealthy community. In order to achieve this, we have to actively support our teachers and our local companies, ”said the chairman of the non-profit organization, Andy Heinemann. “Tucson Values Teachers is excited to partner exclusively with Jonathan’s Educational Resources for Tucson Supplies Teachers 2021. We can’t think of a better way to celebrate Tucson than to fill the classrooms with materials from a local company – materials that teachers need to keep their students successful. “
Tucson Supplies Teachers is the largest school supplies initiative in the region and the only regional supply initiative that invests directly in teachers and enables educators to shop for their specific needs, according to a press release. Tucson Supplies Teachers has provided over $ 1.1 million in school supplies since its inception in 2009.
