Arizona Sports 98.7 delivers top 10 place in the Phoenix Winter Book

Jacksonville’s Sports Radio Guide, 1010XL / 92.5 FM, reflects 15 years of history by going back to its roots. Starting Monday, May 10th, the broadcaster will be producing a special “Alumni Week” that will introduce popular hosts from the past, hosts who have previously worked together, and old audio files, infamous moments and classic characters who helped the brand re-broadcast what it is today.

Frank Frangie, the station’s host for the afternoon, and Rick Ballou will reunite on the afternoon drive throughout the week. Starting in 2009, the duo took care of the afternoons together for more than seven years. Jessica Blaylock will be there regularly throughout the week. The current Miami Marlins reporter was a mainstay on the show for most of Frangie and Ballou’s partners.

Mike Dempsey, host of Jaguars Today, will be reconnecting with his former cohost, former Jags linebacker Tom McManus, all week long. Guests on the show include Jeff Lageman, David Garrard, John Oehser, and Mike DiRocco.

Helmets and Heels, the station’s groundbreaking weekly show with all female hosts, airs every night from 6pm to 8pm during the week. Current presenters Lauren Brooks and Donna Murphy, who have been on the show since its inception, are regularly featured on the Taylor Doll show. The trio includes former cast members Blaylock, Blythe Brumleve, Amanda Borges and others.

The station’s popular morning show, The Drill, will feature interviews with former co-hosts Jordan DeArmon, Mackenzie Thirkill and Tony Boselli, as well as a few surprises. Hays Carlyon, who currently makes up a third of the afternoon show, will be spending the week on XL prime time with Joe Cowart, Matt Hayes and Leon Searcy. XLPT will be welcoming Chadd Scott, Terry Norvelle, Scott Manze and more. Lastly, Frangie and Ballou will reconnect with Joe Block, Ryan O’Halloran, Borges, former program director Jason Dixon, and more.

It’s going to be a fun week revisiting some of the best times in Jacksonville sports radio history with the undisputed leader in sports talk, 1010XL / 92.5 FM.
