AZ State Vaccine Sites open to everyone 16+ starting Wednesday

PHOENIX, AZ – Arizona Governor Doug Ducey announced that state COVID-19 vaccination centers in Maricopa, Pima, and Yuma counties will expand to 16 years of age and older on Wednesday.

Ducey said in a tweet Monday morning that vaccination appointments will be made available at 8 a.m. in the three counties with the aim of vaccinating as many Arizonans as possible.

By Monday morning, around 1,831,456 Arizonans had received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine, with 1,136,413 in the state being fully vaccinated against the virus, according to the Arizona Department of Health dashboard.
