The Phoenix Suns won’t face one of the Brooklyn Nets’ biggest stars on Tuesday night.

Striker Kevin Durant will miss the matchup due to a slight thigh strain, the Nets announced on Sunday. Durant is expected to be out at least two games while he is being treated.

The Nets will play the Sacramento Kings on Monday before facing the sun.

During the season, Durant averaged 29 points per game, 7.3 rebounds and 5.3 assists.

The striker recently returned to the pitch on Saturday after missing three games due to COVID-19 protocol. He played 33 minutes and scored 20 points in a win over the Golden State Warriors.

Over the course of the season, Durant has missed nine of the team’s 28 games. He missed the entire 2019-20 season due to an Achilles injury.
