PHOENIX – – Phoenix police say a residential break-in suspect barricaded himself in an apartment Sunday night. He has since been taken into custody.
At around 6:20 p.m., officials responded to reports of a break-in near a home 35th and Glenrosa Avenuessays Sgt. Maggie Cox of the Phoenix Police Department.
The officers approached the location of the reported break-in and saw the suspect run away.
He went into an apartment and then barricaded himself, says Cox. It is not known if it is his apartment.
“The suspect was taken into police custody without incident,” says Cox.
