Chapman Automotive Group acquires 2 car dealerships in Yuma

Ken Koehler, Tim Lamb Group Director Southwest Region, signed the sale of two dealerships between the Fisher Automotive Group and the new owner Chapman Automotive Group in. conveyed Yuma, Aris. The newly acquired dealerships are renamed Chapman Chevrolet Buick GMC and Chapman Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram. All 240 current employees will be offered employment by the Chapman Automotive Group.

The two Yuma Dealers cover more than 100,000 square meters with 60 elevators. In 2020, the combined sales volume was 4,000 vehicles.

Based in Yuma, is family owned and operated by the Fisher Automotive Group since 1982. Joe Fisher started out as a mechanic in the automotive industry. Initially, Joe headed the permanent operations department while his father ran the sales departments.

“I am delighted that the Tim Lamb Group has found a buyer for us who is consistent with the integrity and business ideals of the Fisher Group,” said Joe Fisher. “I feel good when I know that my team is valued and highly respected by the Chapman organization, which is known for minimal turnover and many long-term satisfied employees.”

The Chapman Auto Group is a family owned dealer group based in Arizona with dealers in Tucson, Phoenix, Payson and now, Yuma. Her first dealership opens in chandler 1966.
