House music icon and Black Book Records label head, Chris Lake, is known for his extensive list of IDs that he teases throughout his live sets. It’s always a treat when we get to watch one of those IDs get an official release and that’s exactly what we have for you today. His latest track, “In The Yuma” has been heard in many of his live sets and is inspired by his legendary performance in the Yuma tent at Coachella 2019.
Those who have been to the Yuma tent know how much energy resonates throughout the stage. Chris Lake returns to his earlier more underground house sound with “In The Yuma” that perfectly encapsulates the iconic set. High energy, catchy melodies, slow builds, funky drops, and infectious vocals courtesy of Aatig all come together for yet another house banger to add to the portfolio.
