In response to Little Anthony’s Diner Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19), we started the old-fashioned 1950s Carhop. “It’s been a while since I started Carhop,” said Tony Terry, president and owner of Little Anthony Diner and Gaslight Theater. “It’s not perfect for our life.” Little Anthony’s Diner Carhop is open Monday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Customers can park in designated parking lots and order and pay for groceries from the safety of their cars, Terry said. There were employees who were dressed in masks and gloves in the 1950s. It controls customers and delivers drinks and food on trays that can be mounted on car windows, similar to the trays of the 1950s. There is a Carhop menu with burgers, salads and shakes, but customers can also order other items from the menu. Little Anthony’s diner DJ, DJ Phil, plays music that is heard through outside speakers. “Can keep it after the virus,” said Terry.
