Crews extinguish fire near Camelback Road, Seventh Avenue in Phoenix
Phoenix Fire Department crews extinguished a first-alarm fire on the northeast corner of Camelback Road and Seventh Avenue in Phoenix on Monday night.
A department spokesperson on scene told The Arizona Republic the fire began at 7:48 pm in a community center.
A video showed firefighters spraying water at a nondescript one-story building with bars and wood boards on the windows.
A warehouse and an apartment complex under construction nearby were not affected.
Firefighters put out the fire in about an hour. No one was injured.
Fire investigators were investigating the cause of the fire Monday night.
