PHOENIX (3TV / CBS 5) – Phoenix Fire Department crews were exposed to massive flames while fighting a fire in a motor home Wednesday night.

The video showed flames shooting into the night sky when the house burned near Fourth Street and Broadway Road in southern Phoenix.

Firefighters received the call shortly after 7 p.m. The crews arrived at the scene and found the house on fire. Firefighters were forced to take a defensive position, surround the building, and hit the fire with water from the outside.

The mobile home was a total loss

The crews quickly got the fire under control, but the house was a total loss. Fortunately, everyone could get out of the house safely and no one was injured.

Fire investigators are now trying to find out how the fire started. A community response team supports the two displaced people from the house.
