PHOENIX – Phoenix Fire teams battled a house fire Sunday night and said when they arrived they saw heavy fire and smoke.
The fire was on 35th Avenue and McDowell Road in a house, says Phoenix Fire Captain Todd Keller.
The crews made sure everyone in the house got out safely.
“With the coordinated attack from the ladder and the interior crews, the firefighters were able to extinguish the fire quickly. There will be no displaced inmates and fire investigators are currently on site, ”said Keller.
