FC Tucson wants to continue its hot streak

Tucson FC (7-5-8) had a great week on the pitch.

They traveled to Massachusetts last week and scored three points after defeating New England II Revolution.

The Men in Black weren’t made there. They traveled to Arlington last Saturday to pick up another point in the North Texas SC draw.

In just one week, Tucson FC collected four points and climbed from 11th to fifth place in the USL League One rankings.

Such a dominant game by FC Tucson was able to bring two of its players into the USL League One Team of the Week.

Midfielder Daniel Bedoya and defender Noah Franke both made the list of the week.

Tucson FC will look to continue their unbeaten streak as they face Fort Lauderdale CF (7-5-9) at 7am tonight at the North Complex cinema.

It is the fourth meeting of the two clubs this season. Tucson FC holds a 2-1 record.

The last time these two clubs played, the Men in Black put on an offensive show and won with a score of 4-0.

The club will honor the police and first responders in memory of the events of September 11, 2001.

FC Tucson has from now until October 30th to further consolidate itself as a playoff contender in the USL League One.

They currently have 26 points and are tied with Fort Lauderdale CF and North Texas SC.

New England Revolution II, Tormenta and the Richmond Kickers are right behind them with 25 points.

Tonight’s game will be broadcast on ESPN Plus.
