YUMA Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) – On the first Friday of every month, local downtown businesses participate in First Friday Yuma.
Participating businesses located downtown stay open a little later than normal business hours to encourage people to shop local and enjoy the perfect shopping weather here in town.
All businesses participating are located on:
• Main Street
• Madison Ave
• Maiden Lane
• 4th Ave
• 1st Ave
• Gila Street
• 1st, 2nd and 3rd Streets
The concept of First Friday started a little over four years ago and the local shops, restaurants and bars who participate on First Friday have discounts or specials going on.
Most shops will be open from 10 am to 8 pm, but check with individual shops for specific times.
