The Flagstaff Eagles girls tennis team finished the season in victory after driving past the Coconino Panthers 9-0 on Monday in the Hal Jensen Recreation Center courts in the Crosstown rivalry game.

Jadyn Romero, Abby Ball, Allie Thomas and Catherine Gripp have hidden their opponents for Division II Flagstaff, which ended the spring with a 5-6 total record and a 4-4 mark in the second section. It was Flagstaff’s first and only 9-0 win of the season against a D-II Coconino team that still has a chance of not being without a win.

Eagles Junior Brooke Freshour scored a 6-1, 6-2 win in the No. 1 Singles against Panthers Junior Ellie Johnston, and Junior Millicent Holliday found Lisa Smith on the way to a 6-3, 6-0 win out of the place two pretty quickly.
