The City of Flagstaff Sustainability Office is providing $100 chickens and composting rebates. The rebates up to $100 to those who purchase prefabricated chicken coops, composters, or both after March 1, 2022. At-home chicken keeping and composting methods work together to provide healthy soils while keeping food waste out of the landfill.
The value of the rebate is determined by the cost listed on the submitted application and does not cover taxes or shipping. Rebates are limited to one per household within Flagstaff and are provided while funding is available on a first come, first served basis. Once all funds have been distributed, the rebate program will end for this year. Applications are available online now via Google forms: bit.ly/ccc_rebate.
