Flagstaff Police ID 2 who died in the building after a car accident

FLAGSTAFF, Arizona (AP) – Flagstaff police released the names of a Scottsdale man and a Phoenix woman who died after the car they were in crashed into a building.

It is said that a vehicle was found in a lobby early Saturday and two people were thrown out.

Police said 23-year-old Jeffrey Kassir was the driver of the vehicle and he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Amanda Mosqueira, 22, was taken to a Flagstaff hospital where she was pronounced dead.

Police say the vehicle left the lane and exceeded the median before it hit the building at around 3 a.m.

Investigators are trying to determine whether speed and / or impairment contributed to the cause of the fatal crash.
