Flagstaff reservoir water level will drop

The Water Authority of Fiji advised that the Flagstaff reservoir did not recover well to healthy operational levels last night.

And as a result, the authority has advised that water levels will drop throughout the day to critical levels.

“In preparation for this, customers in the areas listed below are kindly advised to store in their homes, while it is still available, sufficient amounts of water to last them for at least two to three days and are requested to use water wisely during this time,” WAF stated.

The affected areas are:

  • Amy Street
  • Brown Street
  • Domain Road
  • high street
  • Johnson Street
  • Laucala Bay Road
  • McGregor Road
  • Muanikau Road
  • Ratu Sukuna Road
  • Stewart St
  • Spring Street
  • Queen Elizabeth Drive
  • Victoria Parade from Sukuna Park to Nasese.

Water carting trucks are on standby and can be requested in the case of an emergency by calling 5777 (all mobile networks).
