Grants Pass names Brad Page as new head football coach | Sports

GRANTS PASS, Ore— A new era of Cavemen Football has begun. Former Caveman Brad Page was named the new head football coach for Grants Pass High School on Thursday.

Page will replace long-time head coach John Musser. Musser was the head coach since 2008.

“We’re very excited about what Coach Page can bring to our program, and our community,” said Grants Pass High School athletic director Clay Rounsaville. “He has a genuine love for the players, the game, and Grants Pass, and we look forward to watching him grow as a coach and build our program.”

Page is not only a Grants Pass graduate who played varsity football for the school, but he also spent the last six years coaching at Saint Anselm College (2021-present) and Chaparral High School (2017-2021).

“I am extremely humbled and grateful for this opportunity to be the next head coach for Grants Pass Cavemen Football,” said Page. “This is a dream come true to come back to my alma mater where I played and went to school.”

At Chaparral High School in Arizona, he was special teams coordinator, defensive coordinator, offensive coordinator, and freshman head coach.

During his time at Saint Anslem College in New Hampshire, he was a Director of Football Operations and a nickelback coach.

Page will begin to fill in his staff and meet with players when he relocates to Grants Pass in the spring.
