Order of the Phoenix is the latest illustrated edition, and it’s also the longest. This massive tome is 576 pages long. That shouldn’t be a surprise, as the books grew in length as the series went on. It’s illustrated with full-color images throughout by Jim Kay and Neil Packer. Some of the illustrations are full pages–or double-page spreads–while others are smaller images set among the text itself. It makes for a strikingly gorgeous book and an immersive read.

I’ve bought the first four books for my kids, and they absolutely love them. I’ll definitely be adding Order of the Phoenix to the collection. The whole set is currently on sale at Amazon for between 40% and 50% off. Or you can get a collection of the first four books at Target (that link lets you check out right here on the page). They make great gifts as well.
