Hawaiian Airlines is offering nonstop flights from Phoenix to Maui for the summer

Hawaiian Airlines began selling tickets for non-stop flights between Phoenix and Maui on Tuesday.

Four weekly flights between Phoenix and Kahului will be offered from May 21 to August 15 to take advantage of the summer travel season, the airline said in a press release.

Flights to Maui depart Phoenix at 7 a.m. on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays and arrive in Kahului at 10:25 a.m. The return flights to Phoenix leave the Valley Isle on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 10:40 am with a 7:25 pm arrival. Hawaiian will operate the new route with its Airbus A321neos.

The airline has been offering daily non-stop flights from Phoenix to Honolulu since 2002.

To help Maui travelers meet Hawaii’s pre-travel testing requirements, the airline has entered into agreements with Long Beach, California-based Worksite Labs to give passengers departing from Sky Harbor Airport in Phoenix exclusive access to PCR – Flat nasal swab tests to offer within 36 hours for $ 90, the press release said. Those who get a negative test will be given a wristband upon boarding that will allow them to bypass airport control in Hawaii.
