Historical page from April 16, 1952 in advance: The state troop officer examination is scheduled

STATEN ICELAND, NY – The archive page today is dated April 16, 1952.

An exam to fill 100 soldier positions in the new annual salary of $ 2,370-4,270 is scheduled for May, the state police department announced.

Applications for the exam can be submitted in writing to the Head of Department in Albany.

All candidates must have reached their 21st birthday and not have passed their 40th birthday on May 20th, the date of the exam, it is reported. Further requirements are: a high school diploma or an equivalent certificate; 20/20 vision; a height of 5 feet, 9 inches.
