Aloy’s return will be a huge adventure and the next hit for PlayStation Studios. Guerrilla Games has worked hard not only to expand the first game, but to retool it in the same way that their hero does their tech so that everything is much deeper than before. From fighting to crossing, there’s so much more this time around.

As the game heads towards both generations, the use of PS5 technology appears to be superb, which we will explore further as the release approaches.

Not only has FromSoftware opened the gates to a lot of gameplay, but we even have a release date of January 2022. It comes much earlier than The Winds Of Winter and is the latest project from George RR Martin, who works with Hidetaka Miyazaki from FromSoftware against the backdrop of the dark fantasy world has worked together. There is a lot to be excited about.

The latest Shadow Warrior is out now on PlayStation and looks like sheer, happy mayhem. We talked to Game Director Kuba Opoń about bringing the series back and creating modern-day shooters with an old-school feel. “There’s a certain need to drive for quick, frivolous fun,” he says.
