How to Sync Page Tabs Between Google Chrome, Firefox, and Edge
Some browsers have built-in syncing options that enable users to sync tabs and bookmarks with the same browsers installed on different devices. However, those built-in syncing options aren’t much use for users who utilize alternative browsers on different PCs. For example, you can’t open sync page tabs in Chrome with Edge by selecting the Sync setting in Google’s flagship browser.
Tab Session Manager is a Chrome, Firefox, and Edge extension that enables users to sync saved tab groups between those browsers. This is how you can sync tabs open in one browser with another with Tab Session Manager.
How to Add Tab Session Manager to Your Browser
You can add Tab Session Manager to Chrome, Firefox, and Edge from that extension’s pages on the Microsoft, Chrome Web Store, and Firefox Browser Add-ons websites. Click one of the Tab Session Manager links listed below to open the download page for your browser. Then, press the add to or Get buttons for the extension on those pages.
You can also add Google Chrome extensions to other Chromium-based browsers. Therefore, the Tab Session Manager Chrome extension is compatible with the likes of Opera, Brave, and Vivaldi. Opera has an Install Chrome Extensions add-on that enables you to install Chrome extensions in that browser.

How to Save Tab Sessions in a Browser
When you’ve added Tab Session Manager to a browser, you’ll first need to save a tab session to sync. A tab session is any number of webpages open in your browser at a particular time. To save tab sessions, launch the browser you added Tab Session Manager to. Then, open a group of page tabs to save in the browser.
After that, click the Session manager tab button on your browser’s URL toolbar. You’ll need to click the extensions button in Chrome and Edge to select that add-on.
Your open tabs will save with the name of the selected page in your browser unless you change it. Click in the text box at the bottom of the extension to input a different name for the tab session. Then, press the Save button shown below. A green session saved notifier will then briefly flash up.
You can manually save any number of different page groups with Tab Session Manager. Double-click any of the listed saved tab groups in the extension to reopen all the pages they include in your browser. When you’ve configured the extension to sync them, you’ll be able to access and open those saved browsing sessions in other browsers.
How to Sync Tab Sessions Between Browsers
Tab Session Manager syncs saved tab sessions between browsers by backing them up to Google Drive. So, you’ll need to have a Google Account to sync the data. If you don’t have such an account, you can set one up by clicking Create account on the Google sign-in page.
When you’ve got an account set up, you’ll also need to enable cloud sync in Tab Session Manager as follows:
Open the Tab Session Manager extension before clicking on the Settings button at the top right of the extension.
Select the Save device name to session option. Once you’ve done that, input your browser’s title in the Device name box, so you can identify its saved tab sessions better.
Scroll down to the Enable cloud sync (beta) option on the Settings tab.
Press the Sign in with Google button and select the Allow option for requested permissions. After that, enter the required login details for your Google Account.
After completing the above steps, click Allow to grant Google Drive permissions. As an optional step, you can select the Automatically sync check box under the Enable cloud sync option. Selecting that option will automatically sync sessions.
Once you’ve followed the above, click the Session manager tab extension button on the URL toolbar again. Then, press the cloud sync button shown directly below.
Now you’ve synced one browser’s tab sessions. You’ll need to repeat all the above steps for another web browser with which to sync its page tabs. Then you can open all the same saved tab sessions within both browsers.
Sync Saved Tab Sessions Between Browsers With Tab Session Manager
Tab Session Manager will make your browsing sessions readily accessible across different browsers. With Tab Session Manager’s syncing enabled, you can save and quickly reopen the same group of pages you were viewing in one web browser on another.
Such syncing can come in handy for users who utilize alternative Edge, Firefox, and Chrome browsers on multiple PCs.
