Husband and Wife Arrested in Yuma on Alleged Child Abuse | Arizona News
YUMA, AZ (3TV / CBS 5) – A man and a woman were arrested for allegedly molesting a 5-year-old boy.
Yuma police said they had received a notice of child abuse in the A South Avenue and 8th Street area around 9:41 pm on Saturday, May 29th. When they arrived, the officers found a 5-year-old boy. He was flown to a Phoenix hospital in serious but stable condition.
Stanford Miller, 27, and girlfriend Lacey Acosta, 35, were both arrested for child abuse, aggravated assault with aggravated domestic violence, aggravated assault with temporary disfigurement from domestic violence, and aggravated assault on minors for domestic violence, according to police by Yuma.
