Jerome Hall and Brandon Hall were arrested in connection with Yuma shots
Police officers said two men were arrested on Saturday in connection with an early morning shooting in Yuma in which one man died and one woman was seriously injured.
Yuma police responded shortly after midnight on Saturday in an area near Fourth Avenue and 14th Street where they found a man and woman who had been shot, police spokesman Sgt. Lori Franklin said.
At the scene, 36-year-old Tyrone Hall was pronounced dead, Franklin said.
The 32-year-old woman was eventually flown to a hospital near Phoenix in severe condition, Franklin said.
Franklin said the same day police had arrested two men in connection with the shooting: Jerome Hall, 32, was arrested on suspicion of first degree murder and Brandon Hall, 35, on suspicion of obstruction of law enforcement.
It is unclear whether any of the people involved in the shooting were relatives or knew each other.
Anyone with information about the shooting should call the Yuma Police Department at 928-373-4700 or 928 782-7463 to remain anonymous.
