Kraus and Phoenix Break School Records at Home Invitational

Center Valley, PA (April 24, 2021) – Senior Matthew Kraus and the second year Xavier Phoenix Everyone breaks school records and moves up the national rankings led by the DeSales University men’s track and field team at their home invitational on Saturday afternoon.
Among the top finishers were:

Junior And heals – 110 meter hurdles (15:14 – 1st place); 400 meter hurdles (57.69 – 4th place)
student in the first year Matt Horak – 200 meters (23.89 – 4th place)
student in the first year Kyle Dunbar – 400 meters (51.16 – 1st place)
Sophomore Ason Rutledge – 400 meters (51.60 – 3rd place)
Senior Matthew Kraus – 800 meters (1: 51.58 – 4th place) – SCHOOL RECORD – Sixth fastest in the country.
Senior Nick Cauley – 800 meters (1: 56.31 – 5th place)
Sophomore Matt Santacoloma – 3,000 meters (9: 10.17 – 2nd place)
Sophomore Joey Cummings – Obstacle race (10: 25.68 – 2nd place)
