Legacies grant Landon new non-Phoenix abilities
Legacies creator Julie Plec teases fans that Landon will get a new superpower in Season 3, but this won’t be related to his Phoenix past.
WARNING: The following contains spoilers for Legacies Season 3, Episode 11, “You Can’t Run Away From Who You Are,” which aired on The CW on Thursday.
Legacies creator Julie Plec confirms Landon’s phoenix powers won’t be returning anytime soon in season 3 – but that doesn’t mean he will be without superpowers for long.
When asked if Landon is getting his phoenix powers back, Plec told TVLine, “Landon is still not a phoenix, but we’ll soon find out that he has developed a whole new set of physical skills that will surprise Hope – and that he will . ” him much better in a fight. “Though Plec didn’t say what powers Landon would get, a commercial for Legacies’ upcoming” I Was Made To Love You “teases that Landon will soon be gaining super strength.
In the third season, episode 12, Landon is shown doing strength training with the werewolf Jed. Surprisingly, Landon suddenly lifts £ 300. Hope notices this feat and believes something is wrong and tells him that this new strength is “strange”. The clip ends with Hope Landon saying, “You are not Landon” – a statement that seems to shock her ex-Phoenix boyfriend.
Hope’s fear that Landon might not be himself emerged in season 3, episode 11. In the episode, Josie, Wade and Landon fight a new monster from Malivore’s prison realm – a hope infected with Berbalang. During the fight, Landon not only forgot his favorite D&D campaign, which he played alongside Wade for 30 hours, but found no problem stabbing Hope in the heart with a beaded blade to save her.
