Let’s defend democracy in Arizona
Help us turn Arizona into a deeper shade of blue and stop extremists.

A year ago violent rioters tried to overturn the 2020 election results. Make no mistake, this uprising was clearly based on a lie that the former President of the United States and his supporters continue to promote. These twisted narratives are harmful and undermine our rule of law and democracy.
The attack on the Capitol is a terrible chapter in our history. Too many Republicans think it was an ordinary day. We are not. We will defend democracy in Arizona and across the country. Understand that on January 6th these rioters were armed, there was no election fraud, the Capitol Police were injured and people died. Still, Republicans continue to deny the blame and the leaders who fueled the flames must be held accountable. We must also put voting rights in place in order to preserve the foundations of our country and strengthen democratic efforts.
Navajo County’s Democrats remain determined to stop Trump’s extremist candidates in Arizona and restore leadership, which will rule in good faith. This year we will work to get the vote to preserve the US Senate through the re-election of Mark Kelly, preserve the US House of Representatives with MP Tom O’Halleran, and elect Democrats in critical state and local elections to protect to maintain our democracy. We will do this by continuing to hire local community organizers in rural and tribal communities in northeast Arizona to increase the turnout in these mid-term elections.
We have a schedule for 2022 that builds on our 2020 achievements and our incredibly productive strategy for year-round community engagement in 2021. With this successful combination, we will change the political landscape in Arizona. We work one voter at a time, empowering citizens to choose leaders who respect democracy.
We cannot do this without your help. Please do what you can to help us stand up and fight extremism in Arizona. We’re not going to give in, especially with so much at stake.
Thank you for your generosity and support.
Sincere,
Missa Foy, Navajo County Democratic Chairwoman
Jaynie Parrish, executive director, Navajo County Democrats
