Police are looking for a man who allegedly sexually assaulted a woman on a CBD street and who fled to Flagstaff Gardens earlier this year.
Investigators released CCTV footage of a man as part of their investigation into the attack of a 28-year-old woman on A’Beckett Street on Jan. 2 at around 10:40 p.m.
Police are trying to speak to this man in connection with a sexual assault allegation in January 2021.
The woman was walking west near Melbourne’s busy judicial district when she was approached by an unknown man who grabbed her from behind.
Police said the man then sexually assaulted the woman before heading towards Flagstaff Gardens and was last seen running towards King Street.
