Man Reported Missing Saturday, Was Found Dead Monday North Of Flagstaff – KAFF News – Flagstaff
A man that was reported missing earlier this week was found dead north of Flagstaff Monday. On Saturday, Coconino County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the Antelope Hills area along Highway 89 on a report of a trespass in progress. When state troopers arrived, the subject had left the area. Deputies and troopers were advised the subject was last seen walking northbound on Highway 89. The man was identified as 46-year-old Conan Stults, after he left personal property behind at the scene of the trespass. After multiple hours of trying to locate Stults, Coconino County Search and Rescue were called to the area. Then at around 11:36 am Monday, a search and rescue dog team found Stults dead within Wuptaki National Monument, south of the Lomaki Pueblo area. The incident remains under investigation.
