Man seriously wounded in Phoenix shooting; Witnesses not cooperative
A man was seriously wounded after a shooting Wednesday night in Phoenix and witnesses did not fully cooperate with police, officials said.
According to Sgt., Officers responded to calls for a shooting near Grand Avenue and Encanto Boulevard at around 10:30 p.m. Andy Williams, a spokesman for the Phoenix Police Department.
When the officers arrived at the site, they found a man with a gunshot wound.
Phoenix firefighters rushed the man to hospital with a life-threatening injury, Williams said.
There were witnesses on the spot, but Williams said they were “not entirely cooperative”.
This investigation is still ongoing.
