Man walked for dead on Phoenix Street near 27th and Devonshire Avenues

The Phoenix Police Department is working to find out what led to the death of a pedestrian on February 28, as the case is investigated as a murder.

At around 4:15 a.m. on Sunday, officials responded to reports of a hit nearby 27th and Devonshire Avenues. There they found a 30-year-old, unknown man who had died on the street.

“During the investigation, detectives found evidence of foul play, which turned the investigation into a murder,” Phoenix police said.

A white SUV was found and police believe it is the suspect’s vehicle. There is no information about the suspect.
