Stage 1 – Report

Laps: 45 (1-45 / 200)

Green flag, Bayne gets the jump on the outside and he’s clear before turn one. Gragson holds 2nd.

Lap 12, Parker Retzlaff is running his first Xfinity race. He picnhes Landon Cassill into turn outside wall but they both continue. Retzlaff is learning the width of his machine. That’s a battle just outside the top 5.

Lap 22, Riley Herbst is in the wall after a brake failure and the caution is out!

Green, Bayne and Gragson run even into turn one. Bayne gets loose and Gragson takes the lead.

1 to go in stage one, Bayne leans on the rear bumper of Gragson. Bayne works under him into turn three. Bayne runs wide but still wins the race to the line!

Brandon Jones beats Noah Gragson to the pit exit.

Pit penalty: Sam Mayer wants to drive to the rear after speeding on pit road.

Green flag on stage two, Gragson drives it deep to the bottom and he clears Jones. Ty Gibbs is around behind them with help from Josh Berry, caution.

Green, Jones drives it deep the inside and takes over the lead.

Lap 70, Gragson has a run on Jones into turn three. He clears him with ease, Gragson is back to the lead.

Slow stop for Gragson as Justin Allgaier wins the race to the pit exit.

Pit penalty: Sam Mayer is caught speeding for the second time today.

Green flag on stage three, Allgaier runs wide after a light touch from Brand Jones. Allgaier brushes the wall in turn two! He drops outside the top 5 as Jones returns to the lead.

Lap 102, John Hunter Nemechek has a run on Jones, Nemechek to the lead.

Lap 110, Gragson has a run off turn two. He drives it deep into turn three and Gragson returns to the lead.

50 to go

50 to go, Gragson leads Jones by 2.6 seconds.

Pit penalty: Justin Allgaier ran over equipment on a green flag stop and he’ll serve a pass through penalty. Sam Mayer is caught speeding for the 3rd time today as well.

28 to go, green flag pit stops are complete. Brandon Jones has cycled to the race lead as Gragson trails by 1.5 seconds. Jones pitted just a few laps earlier.

18 to go, Jones struggles with lap traffic and Noah Gragson closes right to his rear bumper.

15 to go, Gragson enters high into turn three. He crosses under Jones off turn four. Gragson cuts the dogleg and leads into turn one.

5 to go, Gragson is opening the gap as he leads Jones by 1.5 seconds.
