Meat-free Thanksgiving dine-in & to-go options in Tucson
Thanksgiving is right around the corner and it’s not always about the meat, and there’s a whole world of vegetable side dishes outside of green bean casserole.

So, whether you’re taking a break from turkey or have been giving turkeys a break for quite some time now, here are a few meatless options happening in Tucson this year. Also, we’ll keep updating the list as we discover more meat-free opportunities.

Gourmet Girls is providing “everything but the turkey” this year. Certain items can be ordered dairy-free and keep in mind that not everything on the menu is vegetarian or vegan.

Govinda’s will be open on Thanksgiving from noon – 5 pm and serving an all-vegan Thanksgiving buffet. The menu includes tofu turkey, mashed potatoes, vegan pumpkin pie, and more.
The holiday meal is $19.95 per adult and $9.95 for kids between the ages of four to 12 years old. Anyone younger than that eats for free.

Midtown Vegan Deli is offering all options a la carte by ordering online via its website. The menu includes Be-Wellington ($25), Whipped Potatoes with Celery Root ($15), Brown Miso Gravy ($15), Kathy’s Cornbread Stuffing ($20), and Homestyle Green Bean Casserole ($20).
