Obituary of Melissa Corens
Melissa “Missy” Corens, age 52, passed away peacefully on October 18, 2022 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Tucson, Arizona. She had been of resident of Tucson, Arizona for the majority of her adult life. She was born on May 3, 1970 in Lordsburg, New Mexico and she went on to become a Lordsburg High School graduate of the Class of 1988. Missy is survived by her husband, Scott Corens, her 3 sons Jacob (Jenna), Cameron ( Leah), and Christian, her parents Robert and Nancy Holguin, and her siblings Julie, Danny, Phillip, Timothy, and Lisa. She was preceded in death by her two brothers Raymond Corrales and Willie Corrales. She also leaves behind a great many family members, coworkers, and friends. She will be greatly missed. Missy was easy to love and befriend. She had a calm, sweet disposition. She dedicated her life’s work to being a beautician, and was a skilled and talented hairstylist who loved every minute of what she did. While living in Tucson, she also joined the Moose Lodge while meeting her family and work obligations.
Services will be held on Saturday, November 12, 2022 at 11:00 am at Our Mother of Sorrows Church at 1800 S. Kolb Rd, Tucson, Az 85710.
