The number of advertised positions in Switzerland rose by 2.9% in March 2021 compared to February 2021, according to the current Michael Page Swiss Job Index.
The Romandy region led the way with a monthly growth in advertised positions of 5.6%. The highest monthly growth was seen in IT, marketing and communication, finance and accounting, planning and logistics, and project management.
The German-speaking region, which accounts for 9 out of 10 advertised positions, recorded a monthly growth of 1.9%.

This is especially the case if salaries have stagnated since the beginning of the pandemic. “
All regions recorded positive growth. The Lake Geneva region (GE, VD, VS) drove growth in French-speaking Switzerland. The growth in advertised positions was mainly due to the Central and Eastern regions in German-speaking countries.
