The Navajo County unincorporated areas surrounding the towns of Holbrook, Winslow, Snowflake, Taylor, Show Low, and Pinetop-Lakeside are provided by the Navajo County Sheriff’s Office.

Holbrook / Winslow / Joseph City / Woodruff / Adamana / Sun Valley

  • July 15 – Deputies from the Navajo County Sheriff’s Office arrested Jerome Billie, 22, of Joseph City on charges of disorderly conduct related to domestic violence.
  • July 17 – A MP performing a traffic control on State Route 77 near Holbrook arrested Tasha John, 23, of Indian Wells, on charges of DUI.

Snowflake / Taylor / White Mountain Lakes

  • July 12 – MPs arrested Show Low’s Kevin Jeppsen, 37, on charges of misconduct related to domestic violence.

– MPs arrested William McCarver, 77, from Snowflake, on a warrant and for grievously assaulting a police officer, resisting arrest, lack of identification, driving without a license and showing a fictitious license plate.

  • July 13 – MPs arrested Charlene Davis, 43, of White Mountain Lake, on charges of domestic violence-related misconduct, domestic violence-related assault, domestic violence-related criminal harm, and domestic violence-related misconduct.

  • July 14 – MPs arrested Rocky Mcintyre, 29, of Snowflake on charges of DUI. Shaylee Brimhall, 32, of Snowflake, was arrested and charged with possession of prescription drugs without a prescription.
  • July 15 – MPs arrested Show Low’s Logan Barclay, 20, on charges of possession of narcotics and dangerous drug paraphernalia.
  • July 16 – MPs arrested Brenda Walker, 31, of Whiteriver on charges of DUI.

– MPs arrested Charles Van Tassel, 74, from Tucson on charges of DUI.

Pinetop Lakeside / Wagon Wheel

  • July 12 – MPs arrested Chari McDonald, 34, of Maricopa on charges of severe DUI and prescription drug use.
  • July 16 – MPs arrested Show Low’s Byron Watson, 28, on charges of misconduct related to domestic violence.

Any information that is available to the public regarding any suspect in any case is encouraged to assist law enforcement with information about the criminal activities. ATV / motorcycle riders please remember that anyone driving on a public road (dirt or sidewalk) must have the correct driver’s license and other appropriate papers. Each ATV / motorcycle operator is responsible for knowing the laws associated with operating their ATV / motorcycle.

Please remember that regardless of the time of year, you must have a permit issued by your local police or fire department for any outdoor incineration. Your observance is very much appreciated. Sheriff’s Auxiliary Volunteers want everyone to know that they are doing house guarding as part of their duties, want to extend this service to those who have part-time housing in the area, who are going on vacation, etc. Please call the sheriff’s office to get in touch speak or leave a message for the Sheriff’s Axillary Volunteer’s Director for your ward. Please remember to buckle up and watch out for motorcycles and ATVs on the roads. Be courteous to other drivers and if you must consume alcohol, get a designated driver, not a DUI.
