Two talented linemen from the Tucson Youth Football & Spirit Federation — Noah Banhie other Roman Pit-Og — took part in the AYF 8th Grade All-Star Game at Bishop Gorman High School in Las Vegas on Saturday.
Banhie and Pit-Og played on the winning team — the West — in the game, which was part of the NFL Pro Bowl activities in Las Vegas during the weekend.
Banhie and his lineman teammates with the 13U Tucson Jaguars enabled that organization to play in the national tournament in December near Orlando, Fla.
Banhie will be a freshman next school year at Salpointe, where his brother Jason will be one of the top players on the varsity as a junior safety, receiver and running back.
Pit-Og, who played for the Oro Valley Dolphins, and his family are moving to Virginia, where he will begin his high school career this fall.
