WILSON, Raymond Donald “Don”

Our grandfather, 91, passed away peacefully on Friday February 5, 2021. Born June 7, 1929 to Raymond and Clara Wilson in Indianapolis, Indiana. He served 11 years in the US Air Force as a pilot and received the rank of captain. He met Dolores “Dee” Yefchak in 1949 and they married in 1950. They were happily married for 65 years until Dolores died. Don has had successful careers as a contractor and real estate agent. He was a relentless optimist who cared about everyone he knew. Don is preceded in death by his son Steven. He is survived by his two grandchildren Jennifer and Brandon; Great-grandson Michael and the lovable plump cat Buddy. On Ash Wednesday, February 17th, 2021 at 5:00 p.m., a prayer for Don will be said in the parish of St. Thomas. On Monday, February 15, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. Don’s friends and family will meet at his home. Instead of flowers, donations can be made to the Humane Society of Southern Arizona or the Salvation Army.
