Oregano’s opens a pure takeaway in Tempe

PHOENIX – Following Lou Malnatis, Buffalo Wings and other restaurants, Oreganos Pizza Bistro will open a take-away restaurant in Tempe.

Oreganos Takeout Kitchen opens on June 2, 2021 at 1705 W. University Drive near University Drive and 52nd Street.

Since it was designed for take-out orders, there is no bar or restaurant. It offers oregano’s full menu of pizzas, pastas, sandwiches, wings, and salads.

Oregano’s is currently recruiting for 30 jobs including a manager, cooks and other kitchen helpers and cashiers. You can find a list of vacancies at oreganos.com/careers.

“We’re excited to announce the opening of our newest concept, Oreganos Takeout Kitchen, and we can’t wait to see the reactions from our guests when we open our doors,” said Mark S. Russell, Founder of Oreganos Pizza Bistro, in a statement. “This location has been in the works for some time as the demand for the ability to eat our food wherever our guests are has increased.”

There are 21 oregano restaurants in Arizona, including most areas of Phoenix, Flagstaff, and Tucson. They have two restaurants in Colorado.
