Page Industries Stock Price: Page Industries shares gain 0.85% as Sensex rises
The shares of Ltd. were trading up 0.85 per cent at 13:04 IST on Thursday to Rs 44796.0, although the BSE benchmark Sensex was up 8.55 points to 61158.59. The stock had settled at Rs 44419.55 in the previous session.
The stock traded a 52-week high and 52-week low of Rs 45,162.9 and Rs 27,053.05 respectively.
According to BSE data, the total traded volume at the counter up to 13:04 IST was 13:04 shares with turnover of Rs 1.54 crore.
At the current price, the company’s shares are trading at 113.34 times its earnings per share of Rs 395.11 per share over the trailing 12 months and 38.24 times its price-to-book value, stock market data showed.
A higher price-to-earnings ratio shows that investors are willing to pay a higher share price today based on future growth expectations. Price-to-book indicates a company’s inherent value and is a measure of the price investors are willing to pay even if the company does not grow.
The stock’s beta, which measures its volatility relative to the broader market, was 0.87.
Promoters owned 47.19 percent of the company as of December 31, 2021, while FIIs owned 25.07 percent and DIIs owned 17.33 percent.
