Patti Page is being built | news
Patti Page Boulevard, a section of State Highway 20, is replaced by Route 66 to the Will Rogers Turnpike.
“We’re not changing direction or anything, it’s just replacing the sidewalk from scratch,” said Kenna Mitchell, public information officer for the Oklahoma Department of Transportation.
This $ 4.6 million project has no start date, but Mitchell said it would start in July – after the July 4th holidays.
“I don’t think we have a traffic control plan yet,” she said. “It is likely that some of the lanes in this corridor will be narrowed while they are working. I just don’t know how it should look like yet. “
This project was awarded to C3 Construction in March and will take 240 days – around eight months – to complete.
“There won’t be any detours because the motorway is still open,” she said. “People will definitely have to plan extra time when the project starts.”
